US Website Rules

All Merchants must adhere to the following requirements, as they may change from time to time, provided by Visa USA and Visa International ("Visa") and MasterCard USA and MasterCard International, ("MasterCard"). Prior to setting an account live, WorldPay will check if the following requirements are displayed on your website:

Card Association Logos: The credit card logos must be displayed on the Merchant website. Our logo download page can be found at: Adding Card Logos

Business Information: The business name and physical address listed on the website must match merchant Doing Business As name that we have on file for your company.

Description of Goods and Services offered

Currency of the Transaction

Merchant Outlet: A Merchant is required to display the country of its outlet on its site prior to the shopper accessing payment instructions.

Customer Service Number: A telephone number must be provided for shoppers who wish to contact the Merchant by telephone (a toll-free number is preferred).

Alternate Contact: An e-mail address and/or fax telephone number.

Return/Refund Policy: A complete description of the Merchant return and refund policy, describing in full detail under what circumstances refunds may not be offered (i.e. ticket sales to sporting events).

Delivery Standards: A complete description of the Merchant delivery methods and time standards, including domestic and foreign import and export delivery methods and time standards.

Privacy Statement: A statement must be provided that is clear and concise and discloses to shoppers what information is collected and tracked and with whom it is shared. An example privacy policy can be found below:

Privacy is a very serious matter for (insert company name here). It is true that in order to process your request, we must know basic contact information such as your full name, address, e-mail address, and method of payment. All required information is kept internally and is never shared with third parties.

Transaction Security: The Merchant must post the method of transaction security that is used on the website. WorldPay's hosted payment page covers this requirement.

Opt Out: Shoppers shall have an opportunity to review terms and conditions as well as privacy policy, contact information and refund policy prior to completing a transaction.
